Welcome to the Financial Documents section of the Nibero panel. In this tutorial, we'll learn what a financial document is, what debit and credit mean, how to record a document, how to view an account statement, and how to use filters to find specific documents.

00:00:20.244 --> 00:00:39.708
First, let's see what the Financial Documents page looks like. Each card is an independent document with date, document number, description, and total amount. Documents can be created manually or generated automatically from sales and purchase invoices.

00:00:41.908 --> 00:01:01.276
A financial document records an economic event on the shop's accounts. For example: paying rent, receiving cash from a customer, or settling a supplier debt. Key difference from an invoice: a financial document only affects accounts, not inventory.

00:01:03.476 --> 00:01:27.500
Now let's understand debit and credit. Every document has two columns: debit and credit. Debit means an account that increased — for example, the cash register is debited when money comes in. Credit means an account that decreased or our obligation increased — for example, the register is credited when we pay rent.

00:01:29.700 --> 00:01:48.348
The golden rule of accounting: total debit must equal total credit. We call this 'balance'. You cannot save the document until it is balanced. Nibero shows the total of each column at the bottom of the form so you can easily verify the balance.

00:01:50.548 --> 00:02:07.780
Now let's record an actual financial document. We click the Add button at the top of the page. The document entry window opens. We want to record the monthly rent payment for the Signal Mobile shop — five million tomans.

00:02:09.980 --> 00:02:22.340
In the debit column, we click Select from List. The account picker opens. We can browse the account tree, or — usually faster — use search.

00:02:24.540 --> 00:02:39.588
In the search field we type Rent. Nibero searches all shop accounts — not just the current folder. The blue bar says Searching all accounts. Rent Expense in the Expenses group is found.

00:02:41.788 --> 00:02:55.132
We click Rent Expense. The account is placed in the debit column. We enter five million tomans. Rent Expense is debited — the expense is recorded.

00:02:57.332 --> 00:03:20.900
In the credit column, we select Main Cash Register. Why cash? Because we paid rent in cash from the register — money left the register, so the register is credited. If we paid by bank card, we would credit Bank Mellat. We enter five million. The Balanced indicator turned green.

00:03:23.100 --> 00:03:37.716
We write the document description: Rent Mordad 1405. Then we click Save. The document appears in the list. If we want to edit it, we click the edit icon.

00:03:39.916 --> 00:03:55.876
Now let's see how to view an account statement. We click the green statement icon on a document card. We enter the detailed account page. Here all transactions for that account are shown in chronological order.

00:03:58.076 --> 00:04:14.948
In the detailed account page, we see the debit column, credit column, and cumulative balance after each transaction. This page is very useful for checking cash register balance, supplier debt status, or bank account history.

00:04:17.148 --> 00:04:37.644
We return to the Financial Documents page. Now let's learn to use filters. We click the Filters button at the top. The filter panel opens. We have five filters: document type, description search, account name search, from date, and to date.

00:04:39.844 --> 00:05:00.700
First example: we want to find all rent documents from Farvardin. In the description search filter, we type Rent. In From Date we enter 1405/01/01 and in To Date 1405/01/31. Documents are filtered immediately.

00:05:02.900 --> 00:05:22.244
Second example: we want to find transactions related to the parts supplier. In the account name search filter, we type the supplier's name. Nibero shows only documents where this account was used. To clear all filters, we click Clear Filters.

00:05:24.444 --> 00:05:47.820
Summary: a financial document is an economic event with debit and credit columns. The total of both columns must always be equal. Use filters to quickly find documents and use the statement to review the history of any account. Every financial document recorded here directly affects your shop's financial reports.
